A tiled roof for your conservatory is a great addition as the tiles are lightweight but durable. The look and feel of a tiled roof can turn your conservatory into a garden room/extension. We use a specific roof system with lightweight tiles, the structure of which means that there is no condensation. The U-value of these tiles is 0.18 which means that they are great at insulating your conservatory, which is perfect for keeping the room cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is an array of choices and styles, to perfectly match your home whether it be modern or traditional.

If you are looking to keep costs down when installing a new roof on your conservatory, a polycarbonate roof is an excellent option. The biggest advantage of a polycarbonate roof is the cost, and these types of roof can sometimes work out 3 times cheaper than glass and tiled roofs. If speed is a factor, polycarbonate roofs can be installed in two days, as opposed to the four days it usually takes to build a tiled roof. A standard polycarbonate roof has a value of 3.0, but we can install polycarbonate roofs with a U-value of 1.5, if you want excellent insulation. If you want to make the most of the summer – a glass roof for your conservatory would be the best choice. Glass on the roof lets in the most sunlight, the reflective structure of the glass will also keep the heat in during the winter and summer. Standard glass roofs have a U-value of 3.0, but we can fit glass roofs with a U-value of 1.0, if you are really concerned about the insulation your roof offers you. Depending on the size of your house, it takes only two days to install a glass roof. Please get in touch for more information about our conservatories and uPVC spraying in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
